--Iran’s forensic organization confirms Amini’s death not due to alleged battery

The Iranian forensic medicine organization issued its final statement on the death of 22-year-old girl Mahsa Amini, confirming that her death has not been a result of alleged blows to the head or vital organs.
The Iranian Legal Medicine Organization said on Friday the conclusion was reached following the examination of the deceased’s brain and lung CT scans, as well as her corpse, and based on the results of her autopsy and pathology.

-- Iran, Japan to lock horns in anticipated final

Iran and Japan will square off at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup final in Kuwait today, meaning the continent will have to wait for at least another two years to see a new champion in the competition.
A victory at Kuwait City’s Saad Al Abdullah Hall will see Vahid Shamsaei’s men lift the crown for a record-extending 13th time – third in succession – in 16 editions.

-- Iran reports 50% surge in non-oil exports to Africa

Iran’s non-oil exports to Africa rose by 50% in value terms in the six months to September 22, according to an official in the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
TPO’s head of Africa department, Mohammad Sadeq Qannadzadeh, said that Iranian exports to African countries have surged by 25% in volume terms in the April-September period.

-- FM Rejects Iran Drones Used in Ukraine War

Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian has stressed that Iran has not provided Russia with any weapons for use in the war against Ukraine, reiterating the need for a political solution to the conflict.

Amir-Abdollahian held a telephone conversation with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto, saying “although some countries provided military support to Ukraine, we never sent and will never send any weapons to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine since we believe that the solution to this crisis is political and offering any arms support to the two sides delays the chance for peace.”

-- Iran, Russia Discuss Major Leap in Trade

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said here Thursday his country and Iran are working on swap oil and gas supplies.
“We are already working with them (with the Iranian side) in this direction; we are working on separate routes, mechanisms. This concerns oil and gas swaps,” Novak told a briefing after meeting an Iranian delegation.
Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji, who is accompanying the Iranian delegation in the visit, noted that Iran and Russia, as gas exporting countries, have already been cooperating on energy swaps, saying new MoUs will be signed for exploitation of Iranian gas fields.

-- Iran Vows ‘Appropriate’ Response to EU Meddling

Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Friday condemned a resolution adopted by the European Parliament against Tehran as “meddlesome” and “baseless”, vowing to give an “appropriate” response to the imposition of any restrictive measures against Iranian people.
“The resolution entails baseless and biased presumptions against the Islamic Republic of Iran and hence is void and lacks any value,” ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a statement.
The remarks came after MEPs on Thursday adopted a resolution with regard to recent riots in Iran, calling on the EU officials to impose sanctions against Iranian officials.

--Good state of ‘health’ in villages

In the past 20 years, the health indicators of the rural population have grown significantly, Mostafa Rezaei, head of the primary healthcare network of the Ministry of Health said on the occasion of the National Day of Villages, October 7.

For nearly 20 years, we have been providing first-level services to 29 million people in the form of an insurance program for rural areas and cities with less than 20,000 people. These services include service packages for age groups plus services for vulnerable groups, he explained.

The good situation we have in rural areas compared to urban areas is people's access to PHC services; This means that health care and treatment are provided to all villagers and the rural family physician program has been implemented and pursued for almost 20 years, he stated.

Tourism authorities of the southwestern Bushehr province discussed ways to make the most of the Qatar World Cup opportunities during a meeting on Wednesday. As part of this meeting, different organizations were taken into account in terms of their role in achieving this goal, Bushehr’s tourism chief has said.

-- ICCIMA to dispatch trade delegation to Pakistan in late October

Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) will dispatch a trade delegation headed by ICCIMA Head Gholam-Hossein Shafeie to Pakistan during October 25-29, in a bid to expand trade cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian delegates, including the chairman of Iran-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce, will visit Karachi and Lahore during their five-day stay in the neighboring country.

The focus of this delegation will be on the fields of agricultural products and food, oil and gas and chemicals, construction and mineral materials, medicine and medical equipment, technology and knowledge-based products and transportation.
